In the middle of 2020 I decided that I was not getting where I wanted to go fast enough in life and I needed to do something about it.
Athletes have a coach for sports to make them push harder so it makes perfect sense to have a life coach to get you to go farther snd start on stay on target for your goals.
I researched how to find a life coach and no one really stood out. After attending a virtual Tony Robbins UPW, I decided I would take a chance on me and get a life coach.
💸💸💸💸I immediately questioned my sanity when I got the bill and wondered (and yes, emailed) to see if I could get a refund.
Was I absolutely insane for spending all this money on something I didn’t even know would work? The person who signed my up told me to write down all the reasons I wanted a coach because I’d certainly question it. He wasn’t wrong.
I told myself after my first conversation with my life coach I was going to ask them how I could cancel this insane purchase and get my money back.
A couple days after my purchase, I got a work sheet to fill out and a scheduled phone call. I filled it out, but still told myself I was getting my money back.
….I didn’t. But not because it wasn’t an option, but because after our first conversation I learned so much about myself and the things I say on the daily that I figured whatever money I just spent, is probably a worthy investment on myself.
It’s been around 5 months of life coaching and I can honestly say I have no regrets. No I’m not EXACTLY where I want to be, but I’m make progress, I’m gaining momentum, and I’m learning that I am capable of things I never thought possible.
I notice language patterns in myself that do not serve me and I’ve been able to change how I see myself and my perspective. My “can’t ” and “won’t” turned into why can’t I and my perspective on life has been changing drastically.
