My name is Alice Ayres and I am a Hipsy.

Always wandering, never lost; forever in search of the next adventure…

I have traveled my whole life and have lived many lifetimes in the process. I was born and raised in a cult and spent my early life traveling all over the world.

I left the cult at 21 and branched out on my own in the real world. By then I had one kid and another one on the way. I had never had a job and had been homeschooled my whole life, so the world that I entered was an adventure I had never experienced before.

My life has been a journey of learning, discovering, unlearning, rediscovering, and understanding what life is and what it truly means.

My life has been an adventure of highs and lows, ups and downs, laughter and tears, love and betrayal, happiness and sadness, and everything else in-between.

Through it all, I have learned that we find beauty in the journey, and the destination…well, it’s just that…a destination.

Life is about who we are, what we choose, and how present we are in every moment on this journey.

Everywhere life takes me is an opportunity for my next great adventure, and I’m on a mission to make this life that I am living the most extraordinary adventure I’ve ever been on.
