Who Am I?

I think I spend a lot of time setting up blogs, deleting them, redoing them, rewriting, not posting, posting. You name it, I’ve done it.

Recently, January 1, 2021 to be exact, I deleted all my social media apps off my phone, except for Linkin and WordPress.

Why? I needed a break from the noise. Besides my addiction to constantly scrolling while I should be something else was way to strong and it seemed the only way to turn off the noise and break the bad habits was to go cold turkey.

So far so good. I kinda like not knowing what is going on with anyone and knowing all those who previously watched my life no longer have a clue about what’s going on. 🙂 Okay, okay, I’m not that popular but I like to give myself a boost of confidence every now and then. 😛

Anyways, so here I am needing a new place to write my thoughts, why this is a need? Who knows? Maybe something I should discuss this with my therapist. 😛 But until I do, I’m just gonna use this as my creative outlet and fill my need and write my thoughts down.

Life without social media is a different life. I notice things more, I’m more aware of what is going. I suppose that could happen to anyone who looked up from their phone every now and then. But ever since I got back on social media (and mind you it hasn’t even been as long as some others…social media and I have had a love/hate relationship) I’ve never take a break.

My social media break will last as long as it takes for me to finish the book “Principles” by Ray Dialio. A book recommended to me and one which I’ve always wanted to “find” time to actually read, since I’ve already completed it through audible.

So here I am, day 11 and I’m kinda enjoying the peace and quiet. Maybe I’ll find more time to write, something I always enjoyed doing but never really did as only fragments of my thoughts were released on IG.

2021, the year for something different. I’m not gonna lie, my inner introvert is smiling widely. ☺️

I’m not quite sure where this journey will lead me, but I’m ready to go on a great adventure.

Until next time…

A. A.
